ROOMS TYPE AT MARA SOPA LODGE

Standard Room: With a total of fifty guest cottages rooms divided into two wings to either side of the main public areas. Each of these house two spacious guest rooms with queen and king size beds; mosquito nets; electronic safes; dressing tables; en-suite bathrooms and sheltered verandas all with views over the gardens and the game reserve beyond.

WHAT TO CARRY

• A digital camera, its charger and a downloading cable, Torch, Tooth Paste, warm clothing for the night, pain killers, drinks, snacks and identification card /Passport gate entrance.
• Personal spending money for drinks and a gift for the Maasai cultural visit.

Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Safari Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara

Arrival at the pick-up point (City Market) between 06:30a.m and 07:00a.m.A short briefing will be given before departing southwards along the floor of the Great Rift Valley with a pit stop at the View Point for breath taking view of the rift valley. You can take photos and buy souvenirs as you listen to African tales about the formation of the rift valley. Arrive at Masai Mara in the late afternoon and enjoy a game drive till twilight. Dinner and overnight stay at the tourist camp.

Safari Day 2: Mara Full Day

Full day spent game viewing exploring the park in search of the Big 5. Early morning and late afternoon game drives are offered. You will enjoy a picnic lunch with the hippos and crocodiles at the Hippo Pool. All your meals and overnight stay will be at the tourist camp.

Safari Day 3: Mara to Nairobi

On this morning, enjoy a pre-breakfast game drive between 6.30 a.m and 9 a.m. After this, return to the camp for a hot breakfast after which we begin our journey back to Nairobi where the safari ends
