The Migration Safari and Adventure in the Mara is one of our most popular Safari sold! It occurs during the Annual Great Migration of wildebeest (July to November) in the world-famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Get up close and personal with hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebras, roaming the plains of the Mara and crossing the Mara River with spectacular hunting scenes of Big Cats and Crocodiles. Your accommodation is in a boutique & intimate luxury camp in an excellent location close to the various migration points. In addition, you will visit the bird paradise of Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya’s scenic Great Rift Valley Lakes.
Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1;Nairobi - Lake Naivasha
You will be picked up by your driver / guide for your safari departure from the airport or your Nairobi Hotel. Drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha arriving for lunch at your lodge.
Afternoon will be spent enjoying a boat ride on the lake as well as a visit to the nearby Crescent Island where you can walk amongst game such as giraffes, waterbucks, zebras etc.
Dinner and overnight at the Naivasha Sopa Resort.

Day 2;Lake Naivasha - Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, the journey continues towards Masai Mara, a 3.5-hours drive from Lake Naivasha. Arriving at Masai Mara in time for lunch, check in and relax before setting out for an afternoon game drive. Masai Mara, one of Africa’s most renowned wildlife reserves, is home to the Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino - alongside a diverse range of other wildlife. The golden plains, acacia-dotted savannah, and vast landscapes create an ideal setting for spotting herds of elephants, prides of lions, and perhaps even an elusive leopard resting in a tree. As the sun sets, guests return to camp/lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay in Soroi Mara Bush Camp.

Day 3 - 6; Full days in Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Full days in the Mara with unlimited game drives during the day at your convenience to explore this Reserve, best described as the ‘jewel in the crown’ of Kenya’s wildlife reserves… You may opt for packed breakfasts or lunches to enjoy by a scenic spot. You can also participate in the various exciting activities (extra cost) offered at the Camp. Evenings at leisure to unwind around a cosy campfire under the African stars whilst reminiscing about your day in the wild. All meals and overnight in Soroi Mara Bush Camp.

Day 7; Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi
Enjoy your last short early morning game drive. Breakfast and check out by 1000 hrs to depart for Nairobi. Afternoon arrival and transfer to the JKIA for your international flight departure. Day room, overnight, meals can be arranged at extra cost.
