This safari covers the Great Rift Valley, Africa's famous canyon, and continues to Lake Nakuru, home of hundreds of thousands of flamingos and pelicans. Then, travel to the magnificent Lake Naivasha and Hell's Gate National Reserve for sights of numerous birds and spectacular wildlife. The tour ends at the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, declared the 7th wonder of the world due to the spectacular annual migration of wildebeest and zebras.

Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Pick up from the hotel at around 7:30am and go to our office to meet the rest of the group. Later, drive southwards along the floor of the Great Rift Valley with a stopover at the viewpoint, arriving in time for lunch at Sankale Camp. Later, proceed for an evening game drive exploring the well-known tree-studded grasslands and rolling hills. The famous Mara is also renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-maned lions, leopards, and cheetahs, but it is also home to numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife found in Kenya. Your dinner and overnight stay are at Sankale Camp.

Day 2
Masai Mara Extended Game Drive
After breakfast, depart for a full day of game viewing and a picnic lunch at the Mara River. There is usually a large concentration of wildlife at the river. Enjoy your picnic lunch as you watch the crocodiles, hippos, and other animals in and around the water. On this day, you have the option of visiting the Masai villages. All your meals and an overnight stay are at Sankale Camp.

Day 3
Masai Village to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, proceed to an optional Masai village visit, paid directly at the village. Thereafter, depart to Nakuru town with a picnic lunch on the way, arriving in the evening. If time allows, you pass via Naivasha for a boat ride to Lake Naivasha Crescent Island. Your dinner and overnight stay are at Hillcourt Resort (budget accommodation).

Day 4
Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
After an early breakfast, spend the morning in Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will see a lot of flamingos among other birds (about 350 species have been recorded here). Lake Nakuru National Park is also home to the black and white rhinoceros. The park has also been established to protect endangered species such as the rhino and is home to Columbus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and various plain antelopes. Afterward, depart to the nearby town of Naivasha. Your dinner and overnight stay are at Hotel Chambai Safari.
Day 5
Naivasha to Nairobi
After an early breakfast, proceed to Hell's Gate National Park, where you will have a chance to visit the geothermal power plant in Ol Karia and the hot springs. Hell's Gate is the only park that allows transport by walking and cycling. There is an optional visit to Crescent Island for a boat ride where you watch hippos and other wild animals. After lunch, depart to Nairobi, arriving at 5:00pm with a drop off at your hotel.
