Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
This will be your short bush safari from Mombasa by road to Tsavo east National Park where you will have the chance of sightings animals like Lions, Elephants, Leopards, giraffe, buffalo, rhino, zebra, cheetah, hyenas and birds species.
Your Tour safari will beging with a pick up by our driver / guide from your beach hotel or Mombasa international airport (MBO) and proceed to Tsavo East National Park where by your drive will take about 2.5 hours to arrive at the entrance gate enjoying the scenic drive through the coastal plains and rural landscapes of kenya as you head towards Tsavo. On arrival at the entrance gate of Tsavo East National Park by Midmorning you will register with the Kenya Wildlife Service and begin your safari adventure as you enter the park by keeping eye oout for wildlife sightings along the way exploring the park's diverse habitats, which include open savannahs, scrublands, and the Galana River.
Take a break for lunch at one of the designated picnic sites within the park, enjoying a delicious meal surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African bush. After lunch resume your game drive in the afternoon, continuing to search for wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Visit popular attractions within the park, such as the Aruba Dam and Lugard Falls, which offer scenic viewpoints and opportunities for wildlife viewing.
As the sun begins to set, make your way to your chosen accommodation within Tsavo East National Park or its surrounding conservancies. Check-in, unwind, and enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by the sounds of the wilderness and since your accommodation is inside the park you wil have the opportunity to view wildlife in your own comfort in the evening waiting for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day Safari in Tsavo East
Start your day with an early morning game drive, setting out before sunrise to catch the best wildlife viewing opportunities to witness the African bush come to life as nocturnal animals return to their dens and diurnal species begin their day later return to your accommodation for a hearty breakfast, replenishing your energy for the day ahead and spend the day exploring Tsavo East National Park on game drives, guided walks, or cultural excursions, depending on your interests and preferences. Visit different areas of the park to maximize your chances of encountering a diverse array of wildlife and landscapes. Lunch time enjoy picnic lunches in scenic locations within the park, surrounded by nature and wildlife and after lunch continue your safari activities in the afternoon, searching for elusive predators and other wildlife species that may be more active during the cooler hours. Take advantage of the golden light of late afternoon for photography and wildlife observation, capturing memorable moments of your safari adventure Return to your accommodation in the evening, where you can relax and unwind after a day of safari adventures. Day 3: Departure from Tsavo East to Mombasa
This will be your last day in Tsavo East National park
You will begin your day with a final morning game drive in Tsavo East, making the most of your remaining time in the park to look out for any wildlife sightings you may have missed during previous drives, taking in the sights and sounds of the African wilderness then return to your accommodation for breakfast, savoring your last meal in the bush before departing from Tsavo East. Check out of your accommodation and bid farewell to the park, leaving behind memories of an unforgettable safari experience. and embark on the journey back to Mombasa, retracing your route through the Kenyan countryside towards the coast and take breaks along the way to stretch your legs, enjoy refreshments, and soak in the scenery before reaching Mombasa. Arrive back in Mombasa by late afternoon or early evening, completing your 3-day, 2-night safari adventure from Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park.
