Ol Pejeta Conservancy is situated in the foothills of Mount Kenya, approximately 200 kilometers (124 miles) north of Nairobi and its main work is to protect and rehabilitate endangered species, restore degraded habitats, and promote sustainable land management practices and  is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including the "Big Five" (elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos) as well as other iconic African species such as giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, hyenas, and wild dogs.

Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Start your day early with a departure from Nairobi, preferably around 6:00 AM, to make the most of your time at Ol Pejeta Conservancy and the journey from Nairobi to Ol Pejeta takes approximately 4 hours  to arrive.Arrive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy by late morning and proceed to the main entrance gate, where you'll pay the entrance fees and receive any necessary permits or information about the conservancy.

On your arrival at Ol pejeta you will have accompanied by an experience tour guide who will help ypu explore the vast savannah and riverine habitats in search of iconic wildlife later visit the endangered species enclosure, where you can observe and learn about Ol Pejeta's conservation efforts for rhinos, including the last remaining northern white rhinos. You will have your lunch at designated picnic site or lodge within olpejeta and after enjoying delicious meals  you  continue with your afternoon game drive exploring different areas. Visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, where you can observe rescued and rehabilitated chimpanzees in their natural habitat and learn about the threats facing this endangered species.
