Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo East - Afternoon Game Drive
Our guides will be at hand to receive you from the Jomo Kenyatta International airport in Nairobi or to pick you from your hotel or residence. You’ll be driven to Tsavo East National Park, the largest park in Kenya and home to some of the most spectacular wildlife sightings.
Here you will spend the day with an experienced guide, exploring the wilderness and spotting lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras and other animals that call this place home. And end your day with an afternoon game drive for exceptional sunsets.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive at Tsavo East & Afternoon Game Drive at Tsavo West
You will start the morning with a game drive at Tsavo East National Park. You’ll have the chance to spot more wildlife, including cheetahs, leopards and hyenas. After lunch, you will be driven to Tsavo West National Park for an afternoon game drive. Here you will have the opportunity to see some of Africa’s most magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive at Tsavo West - Transfer Mombasa
The day starts with a morning game drive at Tsavo West National Park. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the beautiful coastal town of Diani, where you can relax and unwind on the white-sand beaches.
Day 4: Relaxing Day at Mombasa Beach
You can spend the day relaxing on the beach or take partin some of the exciting activities that are available, such as snorkeling or diving. Be sure to take the time to explore the local area and get to know the friendly locals.
After the wildlife safari a small treat to relax the body is a necessary indulgence. You spend the morning at the hotel’s spa getting the much-needed pampering. In the mid-morning, we will take you on a ‘meet the people tour’ at the nearby Mombasa shopping center.
This will give you the chance to say ‘Jambo (Hello) to the sociable local people.
You get a chance to purchase some beautiful handmade curios, adornments, and Kenyan souvenirs. Take this chance to also get henna decorated or get your hair plaited by the astute Maasai stylists. You may opt to forego the shopping trip and relax with a soft drink by the beach pool.
After lunch, we take a glass-bottomed boat ride to The Lantana Galu Beach for some exciting kite surfing. During the boat ride, you get to see the exciting fishes and other creatures that hide below the seawater.
A short walk to the Kaya Kinondo sacred forest will crown your day before we head back home in the evening. For some routine change in the evening, you may visit the Schakatak club for local as well as German Beer.
Day 5: Departure Day
